TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE

Coaching & Mentoring Small and Medium-sized Business Owners to Succeed

Small business owners usually come may way because they are in need of some kind of marketing advice. What they are doing is not working anymore. Usually they are looking for new advertising...
BUT: Once talking, at some point or another they utter one or all three of the major concerns of the small business owner:

THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER’S 3 MAJOR CONCERNS

1. “I work myself to death and I don’t make enough money!”
2. “I am so lonely, there is nobody that I can talk to.”
3. “I am at the cross roads, I don’t know where to go from here.”
Unfortunately most of the management material available in books and MBA courses are aimed at large businesses and corporations, very seldom at the small business person.

In 2009 we had an interesting conversation on the fin24.com portal where I blog on why banks lose so much money when investing in small businesses. Well, they really don’t understand the problems facing the small business person. (click here to see part of the debate).

I have put together a package that addresses the small business owner’s need for practical and and cost-effective advice. The package comprises three one hour sessions over a period of six weeks.
1.
First we address your main concern.
2.
Then we carefully analyse your productivity and pricing, and finally
3.
We look at areas where you can improve as leader and manager.
The longer you wait, the more you have to lose. Click here for an  appointment.

Three reasons to get a business coach or mentor:

  1. You limit your risk because you have an objective sound board.
  2. Discover inefficiencies, learn to maximize productivity and increase profits.
  3. You get to strategize and plan in a structured way to overcome present and future obstacles.

A coach or mentor may help you avoid paying very expensive school fees.  Says Christophe du Bois gourmet chef and restaurant consultant on on getting support:

“In the end you will spend the money, the only choice you have is whether to spend it wisely or foolishly.”

Read more on the wisdom of this remark.  Choose to spend your money wisely! Don’t suffer regret afterwards. Two heads really are better than one!

SakeBeeld featured MindPilot as an entrepreneurial success story in April 2005. Read here (Afrikaans article).  I had to reach demanding targets from day one. In the very week that I launched out on my own, my daughter enrolled at medical school for her first year. I had no margin for error.

Clockwise from top to bottom: Certificate for attending the Naspers- Harvard Strategy Program. Logo of Coaches and Mentors SA, I am a practitioner member since 2007.  Certificate from The Centre for Coaching at the UCT Graduate School of Business.

Without exception my clients testify to the impact our sessions had on their businesses. These range from:  “If it weren’t for you, I would have had lost my business,” to “You have really shown me the way forward.”  Referrals on request.
